if you can pick one up for under $100 (usd), i say go for it. I've only had the printer for a month or so, and i don't do a whole lot of printing, so i can't speak for ink usage or longevity of the printer. the software for network connection is goofy, as is all hp software (could be a windows issue, as most problems w/ pc's is that they run a microsoft os). it's not the best of scans, but i've seen a lot worse. text print quality is nice and clear, the 4圆 prints i've printed look awesome (note: only buy hp photo paper, i found out the hard way), the scans are better than my previous all in one and the stand alone scanner. dispite hearing that the print quality was poor and all the other gripes about this printer, i still bought it. I really looked into this and a few other printers before settling on this one.
